Valeria Maltoni graciously included me in a list of power women bloggers yesterday, and suggested to everyone that they return the favor by recognizing quality women bloggers. This is a wonderful project, and I’m honored to be included and happy to add:

… and I don’t think we would ever see a “M List” for men who blog. Or if we did, a male wouldn’t be allowed to start it (the outrage!). I’m an equal-opportunity promoter, so here are just some of the blogs I read from male bloggers (in alphabetical order):
The M List – Men who blog

Did I forget you? No worries. Just copy the list above, include yourself, and add the best women (and men, if you feel so inclined) bloggers you know who are missing from it. Then, post the list on your site.

Rebecca,
I was on to the idea of creating a list of great men bloggers too, but it looks like you beat me to it!Great job. It will be interesting to see how this evolves!
hi rebecca:

anne
Three cheers for the M list!

Rebecca,
Thanks for the list and the compliments!
Rebecca,
You made another point for us — it’s more powerful (and fun) to infuse each project with our personality and ideas. It is also more more rewarding in the long run. Thank you for spreading the link love.
And I recognize many on your list: Jason Alba (a gem), Dan Schwabel (visited one of my posts at The Blog Herald), Adii (we did an interview on his blog).
Rebecca, thanks for including me on the list! You’re a sport for including the M List! Glad I made the cut and add a little value for you guys here and there. =)
Thanks for including me in the (short) list of male bloggers; I really appreciate it!
I would add to the women’s list with the ONLY personal finance blog that I subscribe to: The Budgeting Babe at
http://budgetingbabe.blogspot.com/
While currently a little overpowered by work, this is a cool blog about budgeting, saving, and a lot of life.
Thanks for the include Rebecca.
No thanks for making me add tons of new blogs to my rss reader. ;) There goes the remaining 5 minutes of “life” I had left per day.
[…] Rebecca Thorman and Valeria Maltoni put together a list of quality bloggers sorted by “W” for women and “M” for men. Rebecca graciously included me on her quality “M” list. Good word-of-mouth is portable and easy to spread. Feel free to spread the word-of-mouth and make your favorite bloggers feel important. […]
Yea! Rebecca,
Thank you for your support to both women and men. You are right a guy who generated the M-List would at the very least have a lot to contend with.
Bravo!
Hi everyone!
I am happy to be part of this project and hope you all visit Valeria Maltoni’s blog who started the project. Keep the goodwill going and spread the list on your blogs. It’s so fun to get to know you all. Thank you!
Thank you and smart idea Rebecca.
[…] As a following note: Before I leave, I’d like to mention that I don’t believe much in fate or omens, but I do enjoy delicious irony and blogger synchronicity. When I awoke I found these. Brief Case Study: Liz Strauss appreciating readers on Successful Blog through comments and through encouragement awards and Now, Make me feel important! who pointed me to The W (and M) List – Promoting Quality Bloggers […]
I just love an equal opportunity blogger! Great list Rebecca and thanks for including a few of us guys in there too. :D
Thanks Valerie Maltoni and Liz Strauss!…
Interestingly Valeria Maltoni at Conversation Agent shared the list of Women’s PR blogs that was originally pulled from Todd’s list by Kami Huyse at Communications Overtones. Apparently males and female bloggers sit 26 to 6. I’m not s…
wow, making the short list of hot male bloggers (isn’t that what this is? :p)
Thanks for the inclusion, I’m in excellent company, and it’s great to see who else is influencing people for the better!

Oopie. Looks like I’m a bit late to the party.
Thank you so much for the mention. It’s an honor to be included with all of these insightful folks–a few of whom I just began reading thanks to your list.
I’ll make sure to add this to my weekly round-up.
Again, I can’t thank you enough.

Rebecca,
Thanks so much for including me on your list, I feel honored. I am glad that you like my blog.

Rebecca, thanks for including the list on your blog.
The notion of the M List is interesting, as is the discussion that has begun.
Funny thing, my offline life is filled with men — I work in the financial field, and I’m surrounded by men in a good deal of my community service/volunteer work. When I sit and think about my “virtual life”, I realize that all of the blogs I visit routinely are authored by women. Something for me to contemplate. I’ll definitely check out your M List.
Thanks a lot! and be well.
Thanks for the love, Rebecca. :)
I looked back at some of my subscriptions and I definitely do not read enough women bloggers. Thanks so much for doing the research for me!
Rebecca, just discovering your incredible site.
Something is going to happen with this list…Can’t collect 150 powerful women without seeing the world change. Namaste.
Could I formally submit http://newlycorporate.com to the esteemed Ms.Thorman for review? :-)
m.. why your site loading so slow?
