We just got a D40 at work. . . can’t wait to get some time in with it. I get to order my D80 soon too. . . almost all saved up! Hooray!

what kind of thank you’s are you writing for? just curious… have a wonderful new year!

    Tiffany – how exciting!

Manda – I send thank you notes after meetings, after my organization’s events, for our volunteers, when I receive a gift, and usually include some sort of thank you when sending a check to a vendor, etc. It sounds like a lot, but I’m not as consistent as I’d like to be, and I’d like to do it a lot more. Pretty stationary helps :)

My wife is all about the thank-you notes. I’m more of a “call them and say thanks” kind of person, but it’s been strange getting in the habit of doing them, and receiving them as well.

On a side note, whatever table / ledge those notes are sitting on looks like a cool design. Almost like a tattoo a friend of mine has on his leg.

Actually, the design is the stationary I was using. And it is very pretty!

in a digital world, an “analog” thank you note is an absolute treasure.. both to write and to receive.

More people should get themselves some monogrammed stationery and write a thank you… even for something dumb like a nice afternoon coffee date. You won’t believe how it makes both parties feel special. I mean, seriously… when was the last time you went to the mailbox and got a LETTER???????
