My wife has stuff that smells (no idea what it really is, although I know I bought her a bottle of something that was expensive). Due to some life choices in my younger years, I don't really have a sense of smell anymore.

However, much like t h rive, I remember this stuff in middle school. Girls would slather the smelling lotions on themselves all day long. Made me almost gag once.

Sadly, most bottled scents remind me of middle school. Truly, mostly good memories, but very, very immature stuff.

slow dancing, hiding boners, math class etc.

Nice pic and so true about the scent/memory connection. I'll smell something and immediately be connected to the first time, place, person that it reminds me of.

@ Gene - haha. I love your story! And I could totally see that. When I first took it, I just liked how relaxing it seemed and the composition. It's only later that I start to make up my own stories. : )

@ Karen - Agreed. I like them both depending on my mood. My best friend buys the scents for me for my birthdays, holidays, etc., so every day when I use them, I think of her. I'm glad you like it!

*comb through every inch of the photo with a magnifying glass*

They looked like ultra futuristic IV drips. When I first saw the names "dreams" and "heaven", the whole scene took on a distinct sci-fi element. My sci-fi flashback isn't as imaginative as it might have been though: Isaac Asimov once published a story about vending dreams seeded with subliminal emotional overtones.

Alas, I saw the fine print before I worked out my own sci-fi story: body mist.
