How come everything you take pictures of look pretty?
Thanks, Ruy. :) I like to appreciate beauty wherever I might find it. I will say though that I just don’t take one picture and ta da! I take multiple photos, getting the look as I see it in my mind.
I have a sense that your organization rivals that of my wife. When we had to consolidate space (when the baby came), she packed her 100+ pairs of shoes in 5 Rubbermaid bins, each labled. Then, a spreadsheet corresponding to say what pairs were in each bin. Stunning on an OCD level.
Oh I have to ask, Do you really store your socks in a card catalog? Because in honesty, that would be amazingly cool. ;) — I want a card catalog in my bedroom, imagine how useful that would be! all those little drawers, in alphabetical order. mmmmm OCD Goodness.
@ Norcross – No, I am not that organized, but someday I’d like to be. Your wife sounds like a good example to emulate ;)
@ Theo – Yes, I really store my socks in a card catalog, among other things. It’s my favorite piece of furniture. It is very cool.
Where did you get it? Was a library switching to computers so they were selling it? MUST HAVE, so Jealous! ~heading off to ebay~
@ Theo- I got it off of UW Swap, which is like a local ebay for our University here in Madison. They sell old UW stuff through a store and online auction. I was in a bidding war with someone else for this piece, and it was so stressful, but I ended up winning. Totally worth it. Really difficult to transport though… ;)
I love this picture. And the fact that you have a card catalog!
